THE LIVELY SUMMER EVENT OF LIFELINE HELLAS TO SUPPORT CHILDREN’S HOSPITALS

Lifeline Hellas Humanitarian Organization successfully hosted a unique Cuban night titled “Peru meets Cuba” at the Peruvian restaurant MANKO Athens in the magnificent One Aesthesis Athens hotel on Monday, June 23, 2025.

The purpose of the charity music dinner was to continue the project of donating modern incubators to the children’s hospitals “Agia Sofia” and “P. A. Kyriakou,” which Lifeline Hellas has been carrying out for three years in Greece’s public hospitals.

The President of Lifeline Hellas, Nasia Papamanoli, warmly thanked the friends of the association and the sponsors who always contribute to Lifeline’s work by participating in its events. She also mentioned the importance of offering and unity, especially during the current period of intense international news.

The Honorary Vice President of Lifeline Hellas, Dr. Angie Margariti Andrews, and her son, grandson of HRH Princess Katherine, Alexandros Andrews conveyed the touching message of the Princess, who thanked all attendees and supporters of the association, emphasizing how much she missed her homeland Greece and the friends of Lifeline.

The charity evening was presented by the acclaimed and beloved actress Ioanna Pappa. The audience was thrilled by the lively Cuban band Cubaneros, which encouraged attendees to dance to Cuban rhythms along with the impressive dancers. Filorga offered beautiful gifts for the ladies, and Kerastase Redken for the gentlemen of the evening. The decoration was a unique creation by the Artemide house.

The event was honored by the presence of Princess Katherine’s son David Andrews with his wife Dr. Angie Margariti Andrews, Honorary Vice President of Lifeline Hellas. Also present were members of the Lifeline Hellas Board of Directors, Dr. Fofi Kamposioura, Dr. Ioannis Patiniotis, Yiannis Sachinis, Marilli Syllantavou, Aurette Arkas, Michalis Dalakouras, Honorary President Dr. Zisis Boukouvalas with his wife Dr. Alkistis Prinou, H.E. Ambassador of Serbia Nikola Nedeljković, and many other distinguished guests.
