A WONDERFUL CHARITY OPERA GALA
The international humanitarian organization Lifeline Hellas will host a unique charity Opera Gala on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 8:30 PM at the Athens College Theater under the patronage of HRH Princess Katherine.
The proceeds from the evening will be donated to continue Lifeline Hellas’s work of providing incubators to the Children’s Hospital “Agia Sofia” and to support the Athens College Scholarship Program.
CARMEN, TRAVIATA, NORMA, TURANDOT, and LUCIA will come to life on the stage of the Athens College Theater.
The most famous arias and beloved duets performed by sopranos Inga Balabanova, Vasiliki Karagianni, Elena Kelesidou, Lamprini Batziou, baritone Nikolaos Karagkiaouris, tenor Yiannis Christopoulos, and special guest Giorgos Davlas.
The exceptional lyrical soloists will be accompanied by the fifty-member “Athens Philharmonia Orchestra” and the thirty-member “Athens Youth Academic Choir” under the direction of conductor Nikos Maliaras, performing some of the most famous excerpts from the international lyrical repertoire.
The gold sponsor of the evening is the company “Astir”.
